The
Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG2000) was developed jointly
by the US Department of Transportation, Transport Canada, and
the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation of Mexico
(SCT) for use by firefighters, police, and other emergency
services personnel who may be the first to arrive at the scene
of a transportation incident involving a hazardous material. |

NPTN provides a toll-free line for anyone in the United
States, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands. Specialists answer
more than 2,000 calls per month. from callers concerned about
pesticides in their homes or others concerned about such
matters as a fish kill. The Network is sponsored
cooperatively by EPA and Oregon State University. |
